BTW, for details on the trade .. he got traded for Mobley and then Francis had one of the funniest quotes in a long time, saying that without Mobley he doesn't have "reason to wake up" in the morning.

Pat Tallman was the Spurs old PA Announcer.
When I first started going to games in 88 he was there.
I believe he started to not go to games in early 1990.
I believe he died that spring or something, with Stan the suck ass Kelly taking over.
I thought Stan "2 minutes, 2 minutes" Kelly was around in the 80s, but then I smoked alot of weed back in college. I like Stan's calling. I miss the "welcome to the loudest arena in the NBA" call. Is coyote gonna do the "Dance on the ceiling" bit the next game?

Pat Tallman was around I dont know when he started, but his last season was 89-90 I remember that vividly.
Stan Kelley is terrible.

I wish we had the Detroit PA Announcer.
Pat Tallman retired due to health reasons and later died in 1990. He was the best. Kelly blows goats. "Let's get busy" was tired 10 years ago.
