This article is essentially correct. Radical Islam, and Islam in general, only functions well when it is the majority. Unlike the secular approach to government brought forth from the Judeo-Christian tradition, Islam does not handle democracy well because individual liberty is perceived to be un-Islamic.
And we make a huge mistake by saying that Islam=Christianity and other religions. They are not the same. Islam is a government as much as it is a religion. Europe and Canada may have made a mistake by letting all of them in.
