The curse of the Coach of the Year award: Who the wants to win it?

This no knock on Byron Scott, who deserves a lot of credit. But damn, everybody who has won it has pretty much been on the hot seat.

Okay, okay, Pop won it in the 2002-03 season. But a lot of us think he should win it every year (present company included ). With this award's track record, they can keep it far away as possible.
