He told you this himself or how do you know.
timvp and Kori, is there reliable info on Manus status?
bad ankle. we might be doomed to lose this series.

hey do us all a favor and go find the nearest shower rod right now..
Manu's been playing hurt for a while. I'm glad we are off until Saturday but the lingering injuries to one of our most valuable players sucks.
His groin and ankle have been a problem. Manu doesn't have bad games very often. You can tell that he isn't getting much lift on his drives and his movement w/o the ball is labored too.
He needs lots of time and rest to heal. If we win the Hornets series it will be due to Tim. This will be the Spurs' biggest test in the playoffs. If we win against Hornets, we can beat anyone.
I think it's evident that Manu is bothered by something. Dunno if it's his ankle or groin. Let's just hope to heal quick.
I haven't found a word. I've checked all the usual sources, and a few unusual as well. We know he's hurt, he hasn't been 100% for weeks, but there's nothing official out on anything serious.
Manu is a warrior. The days off should help. I expect him to give his all when Saturday rolls around.
Manu is always banged up....
No worries.
Brett Brown mentioned it during post-game last night. He said that Manu just isn't Manu right now and he will definitely benefit from the days off. He didn't say what in particular was nagging him, but he said that they trodded him out there to do what he could.
Thanks spurschick. I wish I could get the local coverage. The net lets me follow them but there's nothing like local broadcast stuff to get the flavor of a team.
jinx attempt thread... no link no truth.
Tony and Manu played the last series really banged up. Manu - ankle, groin and bumps and bruises. Tony - toe, calf, ribs and bumps and bruises. That's why I said yesterday that the key to the Hornets series is Will Sevening.
Fortunately the big three are all so talented that each of them have the ability to carry the team in a particular game. Hopefully they can keep alternating as they have all year. Sure would be nice to have all three completely healthy at the same time, but that looks highly unlikely.
If Manu is healthy enough to be on the court playing, he is healthy enough period. Suck it up and adjust your game but the injury isnt going to pass for me if your good enough to be running around on the court. Manu will be fine and he will be fresh to start game 1 on a good note.![]()
No worries. Bonner will come up huge.
Manu has 3 days of rest...he'll be good to go for Game 1 against NO.
as long as Duncan is healthy I got no worries
Your sig is missing an x![]()
Duncan is healthy. And hungry.![]()
It has 4 X's.
Nice touch... It'll potentially be even funnier in the next week or so.
yeah rightyeah manus been good for the most part this year but he has bad games very often
Groin injuries typically take weeks to recover from, not days. And the way Ginobli plays he is at high risk to reaggravate it at some point again in the playoffs.
