I thought JVG said that he will never go back to NY or something like that?
But how pissed off would Mark Jackson be if JVG became coach of the Knicks?![]()
Of course, we are not even sure if he'll come back to coaching, but where do you see him?
I think Dallas, because he'll take his revenge on the Rockets

I rather see JVG do commentary.
I think it'll be Dallas, not because he gives a damn about the Rockets, but because all you have to do is take one look at both rosters and apply some common sense.
True.I rather see JVG do commentary.![]()
JVG to the mavs!
do it Cubes and I'll forgive you for the jason kid ordeal
JVG wont go back to NY and i dont think JVG can work for Mark Cuban.
Cuban and Van Gundy's big egos would cancel each other out. No go there. They would kill each other. Sorta like Steinbrenner and Martin![]()
The biggest problem that the Mavs had this specific season was the step back that the defense had in the key moments of the game. I know this might sound crazy to some of you seeing as AJ just left, but we need a defensive coach. We really don't have a roster to play an uptempo offensive game.
So since Larry Brown is not available, JVG might do it.
As for a crazy idea: Rick Barry, the man knows basketball.
But Rick Barry is a , if you want the players to all hate the coach then get him. If you want a defensive coach get Tom Thibodeaux. Aside from Van Gundy, the man actually knows offense.
i don't think anyone can be more of a than avery was at times to this team. 2-3 years out of rick is all I want.
the mavs should let mario ellie take over.........![]()
Mavs should bring back Del Harris.
Del Harris is an excellent coach.
He got fired by the Lakers because of dumbasses such as NVE, Shaq and Ceballos.
He led the Rockets to the 81 Finals.
He's much better than AJ.
JVG hates the mavs. No way he will go there. I think Rick Carlisle is the best option for Dallas.
