just want to keep a running tally when we're second linin all over the board tomorrow.![]()

2Q- Spurs 29 - Hornets 20 (46-44)

Tim- 26 pts. 13 reb
Manu- 17 pts. 6 reb 2 assts.
Tony- 25 pts. 9 assts.
Barry- 9 pts (3 threes)
Paul- 15 pts (5/15 fg) 11 assts
West- 28 pts
Chandler- 8 pts. 13 reb.
Bonzi- 1 TF
I think you went a little overboard on the predicition there.
I did similar predictions before the four wins against Phoenix and I forgot to do it in game 1 of this series so I needed to do it this time.
nawlins
Spurs aren't winning in New Orleans in the first two games, they haven't figured out DWest yet. If they're winning in New Orleans, it will be game 5.
My prediction
Manu starts for an immediate offensive punch due to Pop's decision (because we were down 10 before Manu was inserted)
1 Q 45 pts NO 15
2Q 25 NO 30 (Finley starts 2nd and 3rd quarter)
3Q 30 NO 18
4Q 22 NO 26
Spurs win 122 - 89
Manu has 45 points all in the first half (40 points in the first q), rests the whole 2nd half (only plays about 22 minutes)
Tim + Tony take the helm and cruise while Finley, Bowen, Barry hit threes
-Tim only finishes with a respectable 12 points (6-8)and 19 boards
-Tony gets 28, and 12 assists again
-Manu has 45 points 8 rebounds and 9 assists
-CP3 gets ejected in the 4th quarter (suspension pending)
- David West gets 30 again, but to no avail, which comforts a lot of Spurs fans
-Peja chokes 2-9 from the arc, Bonzi gets his ankles broken by Manu, out on injury by the second half. Paul has a solid game, because he's that good, but the rest of the players are no-shows, because Bruce forces a lot of turnovers against Paul
-Hornets fans are too hammered to care about the impending loss by the 3rd quarter, but they do start hissing at their own Hornets when the lead is pushed to 33.
-Hugo the Hornet is again the victim of his ty Nawlins crew--wardrobe malfunction...he only suffers mild 1st degree burns thoughwaving to crowd like a real trooper...they're too drunk to care...
- San Antonio Fans sleep easy Monday night
Manu doesn't start. He comes off the bench to play everyone else's second string guys. Manu should start but he doesn't want to cause he knows that he will never be as good as he is coming off the bench. That's why he's 6th man of the year cause he's supposed to start, but likes to play against lesser defenders.
This shows how little you know 'bout Basketball.
Really so Manu torches us for over 40? Not only that but the Spurs score 45 points in the first quater? Lol it was fun to read but thats beyond crazy.
*I say the Hornets win a close game tonite.
*We turn it up a whole nother notch in the 2nd half.We blew out the Mavs in game 2 from start to finish. But these are the Spurs. These are the defending champs.
*Hornets by 6. West has another great game with 28, Paul gets 20 and 14. Peja gives another 18 pt night.
*Duncan has a much better night but still not great 20 pts 10 rebounds. Ginobli has 22, Parker 18. Bowen doesnt give the 3 point performance that he did in game 1.
*Pargo, Wright and Wells give us a big boost off the bench.
I'll be back to discuss here win or lose tonite. Good luck guys.
Home team wins every game.
Sorry S.A.
Too many Lakers bandwagoners in these threads.
You bet they're pushing for NO to win, otherwise they know their season is over...
