He didn't call a timeout during the ourth when the game was 90 to 94 and the Su ns went on a run and went up to 99 I think. He just let them play.
Also, he benched both Bowen and Tony after playing like complete crap and let Devin and Beno shine.
Manu was the ultra star of this game but Pop was the guy in charge and he made the right decisions.

Yes barry hit some monster 3's etc etc.
But Manu was the one who kept us in the game throughout the whole compition...
No win is ever 99.9 percent of one person.
He was the star, the xfactor yes. But to discredit Tim, Barry, Beno, and Devin is pure stupidity. To discredit Pop is even dumber.
Pop couldve easily dumbed up and ran constant plays for Duncan.
But he ran Isos for Ginobili, and put the game in Manu's hands.
Manu IMO just won big points with Popovich tonight.
I think youll see Manu get lots more touches in games from now on.
