Thanks Kori..... man all he would have needed was one more three....
snubbed for the all star game, mings comes out and beats the living out of the New Orleans Hornets.mings 52
Terry mings was a stud. Too bad he blew that knee out.
actually he beat the out of the Charlotte Hornets.
Damn, too bad Drob sucked on offense and couldn't score to save his life...he might have had a better career.[/Drob minimalist]
In addition to those games...I'd be willing to bet that Drob and Gervin both had a few 49 point games as well...I am certain Gervin did.
But I am about 99% that Gervin is the only guard to have scored more than Manu in a game...I know Robertson never got 48 with the Spurs, Moore either.
I don't know about Silas though, he was before my time pretty much...he might be the only other guard to have scored that many.
there, fixed!
It's a good thing AJ isn't on the team, otherwise some AJ fans would be trying claim AJ "lead" Manu to scoring 48 points, and deserved the credit for Manu's performance.
well done KEDA!
BTW...how is the bowling league going?
Why are you guys such petty es sometimes? Two people had to point out TPark's mistake on New Orleans -- which you obviously knew what he meant. And now Whottt brings AJ smack. Just STFU and enjoy the win and Manu's performance.
I'm just glad you went through the trouble of looking up the stats Kori.... I don't have your resources....
Hey, I haven't run any AJ smack in like 2 months...if you don't use it you'll lose it. Besides...he's one guy I don't have to bother looking to see if he's on that list.I think Devin Brown has already beaten his best...which is a big weapon on my side in the endless debate of whether Duncan or Robinson had a better supporting cast at the guard spots...and this is a very longstanding, heated and much contested argument here in Spursville.
Are you kidding me....??? It's not debatable... and last night's game proved it... Duncan has one of the best guard rotations in the league.
I'd put this one above Duncan's 53 considering we lost that game (in very heartbreaking fashion). One of the greatest individual performances in Spurs history, IMO.
Petty es in an online forum. I am shocked.
He's pretty damn close though.
All the players on the top 10 list were all the stars of the team, Manu is just a part of the spurs, that's why it was so crazy.
Didn't DRob score 50 several times?
Kori gets the media guide. I'm sure her list is accurate. It shows two times, one at 52 and one at 50.
I would agree.
Manu was supposed to be up there.
