It's not necessarily about Muslim terrorists... yes, some of the terrorists are Middle Eastern, but they are usually mere puppets for some evil white dude.

They usually also throw in a Middle Eastern protagonist just to keep it fair.

There's always a mul ude of badasses on 24. The Secretary of Defense proved himself last night ("I give you full authority to do whatever you deem necessary to get this information from my son")...you don't with a man who does his own son like that.

...and speaking of father/son relationships: Do not with Navi. "Go with Tariq." Three words you do not want to hear. That totally reminded me of Michael Corleone: "I know it was you, Fredo. You broke my heart."
