In the past years when the Spurs were trying to repeat, they never got past the semi-finals. In 2000, Spurs lost in the first round, in 2004 & 2006 the Spurs lost in the semi-finals.

We finally got over the semi-finals repeat hump.

Now it is time to defeat the Lakers in the WCF and then onto the NBA Finals!

Any thoughts? I don't know if anyone else has noticed this but I am sure they have.

We got over the first hump. Actually, there were a couple of hills to get over in the Hornets series: Winning from being down 0-2, 3-2, game 7 on the road.

But we are just at the bottom of the mountain. Still a long ways to go, but we are climbing it.

Like Horry said, getting to the WCF means nothing. We need to keep winning.

i take it as a very good sign. but they know this is not even close to being over. they without question have had the TOUGHEST road of the current playoff teams.

    Phoenix, Hornets, and LAKERS??

you can argue those are the best teams in the NBA. no doubt and the spurs have a chance to go thru them.
