    im not hopping on any bandwagon. im just pulling for the spurs. im sick of this rigged-ass league, and if any team can weather an attempted series fix by stern, it is the Spurs. but if its Spurs vs. Pistons, then I will be pulling for detroit.

    But as long as the Lakers and Celtics don't win, I will be somewhat pleased with the outcome of this season.

    So now Avery Johnson is a commentator..?..?..? It's hard enough listening to VanGundy a whole game, can you imagine a VanGundy-Avery Johnson commentated game? ...eww yucky. Please nba, please don't do it. I will be forced to watch all spurs games with the tv muted and the radio on 1300AM.

    I'm not going to claim that the NBA "set up" the Spurs to win les, because that's not what happened. The Spurs earned everything they won.

    But the whole "no way the NBA is rigged cuz the small market boring Spurs win a lot" argument doesn't hold water because while in the USA the Spurs might be considered "boring" to the masses, they also have two international superstars on their team. And we all know how Stern wants to expand internationally. The Spurs winning is great for the NBA internationally. However, an LA-BOS Finals will rake in gigantic ratings this season.

    I hate being a conspiracy theorist since most people will just think I'm bitter over the 06 Finals, but I believe 100% that David Stern has set it up this season to have a Lakers-Celtics Finals and will make damn sure it happens, and that Memphis & Minnesota are both in on this whole thing.

    That said, I hope I'm wrong, and go Spurs.
