Plus, if both win all their games, Phoenix will have played 1 more game and be 1/2 game up on SA. So the only team that controls it's own destiny is Phoenix.
POP is the coach, team plays defense,if it's the suns coach oh my god all 5 starters are going to play 38+minutes he does not know how to use the bench.
SPURS have only 4 games left before FEB.6 most of other teams have 5 to 7 games left. POP has a good chance to be the ALL-STAR coach. 3-1 might do it

Wolves playing better and/or Grizz on a hot night could take Suns but that is a soft schedule otherwise.

I say let D'antoni coach the All-star game, seeing as though Pop doesn't want the job, and would much rather take the time to enjoy a much deserved rest. Plus, I can't think of any coach (other than Pop) who is more impressed with Manu's performance as of late than D'antoni. Therefore we have a good chance of having another all-star in the team.

Just because PHX has an easy upcomming schedule doesn't mean that they won't lose, afterall, the Spurs lost to Portland las night.
This only means that the Spurs should really focus on winning games so they can remain the #1 seed because the Suns have really easy games coming up.
THose first four games for Pho are all potential losers. If they have an off-shooting night at one of those places, with the way they play defense and the way those teams can score they could easily lose. Back to back at Mem and Minn is at least one more loss. 2 down for sure. D'Antoni my ass.

Leave it to someone of this forum to tell one of the coach of the year candidates that he doesn't know how to coach basketball.
You might want to actually look at the roster. It's not that Mike doesn't know how to manage playing time, it's simply that he doesn't really have anyone on the bench that is worthy of playing.
Isn't there a cut off point for the All-Star game coaching position. If so I could of sworn it was Jan 27 and not in February???
