excellent thread.
I'm just posting here as an honest Laker fan. Sorry, but the Spurs really don't have a chance in this series. The Lakers are led by veterans who won't fall apart in the heat of the moment like the young Hornets did. Kobe will close the deal. The Laker offensive machine is at least an order of magnitude better than the Hornets attack that just shredded the Spurs three times in the Big Easy. My Lakers picked apart a savvy Jazz team that had improved by leaps and bounds since last year.
You Spurs fans think that Pau Gasol is the same guy who got no support from his Memphis team. Now he's just a cog in this fluid machine. Take your pick: pack the lane to contain Mamba and let Gasol Paund you from the perimeter, or try to take him out of the game and let Mamba drive the lane over and over until all your big men foul out.
You Spurs fans think the Laker bench is the same thin gruel it's been the last few years. Well, the kids are growing up. Farmar, Vujacic and Walton will make you pay for your insolence.
This Laker attack is too balanced and too versatile to stop, and even all that Spur experience won't forestall the inevitable. I'll throw you a bone and say the Spurs make one last stand at the Alamo (one game), but this series marks the end of your interlude between two installments of this great transgenerational Laker Dynasty.
Lakers in 5!
excellent thread.
The morons haven't changed a bit.
Am I the only one who thinks the Jazz actually digressed from last year?
I feel the same way about the lakers chances. Ive never in my life been less scared of matching up with a Lakers playoff team. Spurs in 5.
They kept veering off topic?
That is turrrrible (c) Charles Barkely

Awesome.
So then if we lose I won't feel bad.
So what the , lets play the games anyways![]()
This will be a short series in favor of the Lakers
Yea, the suck.
The spurs just beat NO and Phoenix, those are real teams
Get ready for a wake up call you oblivious dumb asses.
I remember this .
He's actually a sunfan.
We need a chart to keep track of the trolls real teams.
I don't see any veterans other than Kobe and Fisher.
Excellent. Thanks for letting us know, we can start making summer vacation plans.
The Spurs didn't have a chance against the Suns or Hornets either.
The league trembles at the mention of those three names.
With laughter.
Eventually luck runs into a purple & gold brick wall.
Like the short series between the Spurs and Suns?

Saguaro's best post when he was a Suns fan:
A Mamba is a deadly cobra that strikes fear in all who come near. You will not survive its bite, just like the Spurs will not survive Kobe Bryant.
I guess we can all start pile driving Coronas. This has freed-up my TNT viewing times too.![]()
This year even Spurs homer Hollinger knows what's up. It was a nice run, Spursies, but all things must come to an end.
Eh I was going to type something out Ill just let the teams speak for themselves
