allrighty then
So if the Spurs win tonight... I suspect the Lakers bandwagon drops by 20%.
Win game 2 as well, and I suspect the Lakers bandwagon drops by 90%.
It's science.
The Spurs never seem to get a bandwagon following, I wonder why? Oh, maybe it's because your team is like some warm milk, you put people to sleep.
What's the math and science on suicide/cliff-jumping threads if the Spurs lose game 1, then game 2?
We don't Die, we Multiply!
If you set the flux capacitor to 5.22 gigawats and drive the Delorean to 88 MPH, maybe we can go back and change the outcome of the game so the Spurs thereby win and decrease the amount of fans on the Laker bandwagon. It's an exact science McFly!
Oh but I guess...
Being knocked off in the 1st round by the same team the the last 2 years, and not even making the playoffs before that, is way more exciting...
Laker fan thinks that basketball is about winning the bandwagon championships.
Ask the Hornets, you just move on to the next game.
So you get more random ass people acting like they know basketball and telling people they're favorite team is the Lakers?
"Dude, did you see Kobe's dunk last night?"
Actually....there is a huge one...those of us who have been around since the Gervin days have noticed it.
I think the over/under after a game 1 loss is 20, if SA goes 0-2, that goes to 60 followed by 40 "we have been here before" threads. What's the math and science on suicide/cliff-jumping threads if the Spurs lose game 1, then game 2?
I think it comes with teams who win les. Every loss is the end and every win guarantees a championship. A ton of Laker fans are the same way....we saw it in 03 and 04.
