me either, but I have to study for finals, so there is some silver lining of me not being able to sleep LOL
I tried to lay down for about 45 minutes and all I can think about is what a blown opportunity that was.
me either, but I have to study for finals, so there is some silver lining of me not being able to sleep LOL
Yeah I have to be up early in the morning and neither can I.
This is a punch to the old gut loss.
I fell asleep during the game, because the Spurs were just handing some ass out LOL. I can fall asleep pretty easily and I will right now, I'm not worried at all or feel bad about this loss, Spurs got this .
I've only been this pissed about two losses ever...
1) Terry Porter falling on his ass
- and -
2) ing Strickland blowing game 7.
I'm still trying to decompress from this game. I haven't hit depression mode yet.....It's coming though.....
I'll be okay by tomorrow......after I read the LA Times tomorrow about how Kobe Bryant is the greatest ever....the usual...the Spurs are too old....the Lakers vs. Celtics is about to become a reality........
The one thing that is going through my mind is how this game reminds me of the Derek Fisher .04 shot in 2004..............
remembering that....salt on the wound.... awwwwwwwwwwwww
yoo tink dets bed
rememeba tha time rod strickland tried to do an unnecessary spinaround no-look pass to robinson in tha closing seconds of the fourth quarter which resulted in a turnover and a rocket victory?
ooooh corso!
I can't sleep but it has nothing to do with the Spurs. I'm just being stupid and surfing the web. I need to get some rest like the Spurs are right now. We'll be fine guys... so don't worry about it.
At night I can't sleep, I toss and turn.
Candlesticks in the dark, visions of Bowen taken out in the 3rd...
Good luck with your finals... you deserve the best.
I can't sleep either... still can't get over how the Lakers came back from a 20-point deficit over a very focused defending champion.![]()
4th quarter just starin' at a ...
I'm paranoid coaching with my finger on the trigger
you for bringing back up Terry Porter![]()
![]()
My Spurs always stressing me every night
But they aint going out without a fight
The defending champs were not that focused to blow a 20 point lead and the game...that's the thing that keeps playing in my mind over & over...not Kobe's MVP performance in the 4th quarter but......the Spurs blew a 20 point lead!!!!!![]()
We're fine it sucks but we are fine. We will bounce back, tonight was painful but we will bounce back.
Do what i'm about to do. Take a nice long walk to whataburger...order a triple whataburger and a large strawberry shake. God bless 24 hour places.
4 walls just staring at a spur, visions of pop being burned. that was pretty cool. it was only one game, this sounds like CL after a loss.
Me too. I hope it's not just the fans that it deflated. Still, this was game #1, not game #5. If this was game #5 and this happened, I would be more worried.
I slowly calming down and coming back to the realization that everything went wrong that could have in the last few days and we still almost won.
See everytime the third quarter close, I start sweating
And blood starts coming out my nose
See every time i my eyes close, i start sweatin' and kobe starts drivin' it home!
Its tough watching this crap
But I dont know, so Im flipping it back
I love that that is why people hate the Lakers.
damn, i got nothing, but it was fun while it lasted.
Actually, that was to Elliott. And he was actually partially to blame, since he should have made the baseline cut for what should have been a easy dunk. But Strickland hot-dogged it beyond what was necessary.
