    Bennett Salvatore, Ken Mauer and Tony Brothers

    Two Circle of 7 Fixers on one crew.

    This will be a huge obstacle for the Lakers to overcome, there is no doubt with these assignments what the league's objective is and it isn't for the Lakers to crush the Spurs spirit in Game 2.

    They bent over backwards for you with a bad crew in Game 1 and now this? Why not just send David Robinson, Sean Elliott and George Gervin to "officiate" the game instead?

    Hehe......I actually wouldn't mind seeing Game 1's crew out again. That was one of the better refereed games I've seen in some time.

    I knew this was coming. Same Ol' Lanny but you know what man, I think Bennett once wrecked our repeat chances when he let Dirk get to the line 30 times to help his team advance past the Spurs.
    It will be interesting to see IF ref play will be the SOLE determinant in the game.

    I love it that Stern favors the Spurs being in the Finals against the Eastern rep.

    How can you blame him, every Commissioner would favor the Spurs with their low ratings potential over the Lakers.

    I totally agree... how nice it is to see some competent refs (other than that out of bounds call at the end). It's a damn shame they can't all be like that so it wouldn't ing matter who was reffing and the players could just play at home or on the road.
