DEBORAH GIBSON (perhaps still more famously known as '80s teen queen pop princess Debbie Gibson) has gone the way of so many and shed her clothes for Playboy. The March issue hits newsstands Feb 11.
Deborah, 34, has made some significant, successful strides in separating herself from her teen image. But apparently these changes are not significant enough. (She has toured to acclaim in Grease, Gypsy and Funny Girl, and landed on Broadway in Beauty and the Beast and at Studio 54 in Cabaret.) The layout, which shows a "well-defined, yet very sexy, feminine look," coincides with a new single led "Naked." She's also doing a remake of the Daryl Hall & John Oates classic "Rich Girl," produced by Ernie Lake. That one will be on her coming album.
I never know what to think of the taking-it-off-for-Playboy-route. Almost every woman who's done this magazine layout claims she did it not to promote her work - acting, music, etc. - but rather to "free herself" from old inhibitions. I'm all for freedom. Let it fly, Deborah.

actually Whottt....Belinda lost that weight when she went solo...and as of that Playboy issue she was in...not that I have it or anything.....she still looked pretty thin, but I guess anything is possible.
