I dont keep up with the stros much anymore, but back in the day every summer me and my brother would head down to Texas to help our aunt run her kennel. My aunt was a great lady, but unforunatly her life was taken short by a drunk driver. But lets not be gloomy, on to the question. My aunt loved the Stros with Derek Bell, Kevin Bass, Craig Biggio, and Jeff Bagwell, but her favorite was Doug Drabek. I dont know how it got started, but somehow she developed a friendship with him, and every summer when we would come down, me and my brother would meet Doug and we've actually been to his house, and I got to swim and play catch with his son who is in the Phillies organization. He's a great man. Anyway, in recent years his name has been added to the Hall of Fame ballot. Any chance we can see him in Cooperstown?

If you see Doug Drabek in Cooperstown, it's because he's visiting on vacation.

He had one great season and a couple good ones. Not nearly enough for HOF consideration.

Keep in mind most of his career was during the 80s/early 90s which was a pitchers' era. ERAs in the 2-4 range were a lot more frequent back then.
