    The future looks bleak.

Picture Manu hobbling around, Duncan bricking easy shots and Parker panting.

Next year will be like this year, except everyone will be a year older and the Lakers, Hornets and Jazz will be a year better.

Yes, this is the bleakest the Spurs' future has looked since . . .

    1. Badly need Splitter to come over.

    2. Actually ing play Mahinmi in the league next year.

    3. Knock the draft picks out of the ing park. First learn how to draft.

    4. Sign an ace bench player with the MLE like Josh Childress. First tell Childress no other teams are giving him money.

    5. Refuel with a longtime All-Star caliber player or two who is willing to dig and fight for a ring. Oh, there aren't any of those anymore? Nevermind.

    6. Tell Pop the 'defense wins championships' thing works only if you can score points now and then. Acquiring geriatrics who only play defense and can't score isn't a great idea any more. This ain't 1999.

Why wold Childress accept such a small contract.

Plus hes restricted, I more than likely think Atlanta would match.

Do we re-sign Kurt Thomas? Finley is out, what is Barry's contract, is he out after this season as well? Splitter is in Tau. How much has Ian delevoped? Who do we look to draft? Tony and Manu are playing for their respective countries, I'm not worried about Tony, but Manu is going to be tired and still hobbled.

    IMO we need:
    -Young Bigs (Ian and ?)
    -Young Wings(?)
    -Backup PG

    Any targets?

If Manu plays this summer he is a ing idiot. You have a gold medal Manu they are not paying you 10 mil a year to come into training camp with a limp

I think we need to add young, hungrier players.
    Not overhauling, just additions.

Look at the Celtics scrubs, they want it bad.

Or what Joe Dumars has done @ Detroit with Stuckey, Maxiell, etc...
