    All those B*ches in the media and fairweather fans contemplating Duncan's decline;

    19 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists.

As long as we have this guy on the team, Spurs will always be a contender. Lost in the battles of this postseason, Tim Duncan has an absolutely amazing postseason run. It started with his 40 point game and dagger 3 pointer in a double OT win against the Suns and it ended with a triple double, his first since 03 in the playoffs I believe.

If there's any doubt whether or not he's the best big man ever and still in this league, I think tonight's game and his entire postseason run this year should tell you the answer to that.

Thanks as always for an awesome postseason Duncan.

Duncan is the reason I watch. There's never been one quite like him and I know there will never be another one like him. He's the best.

How many baskets in the second half?

What was his FG% in the playoffs?

He had probably his worse playoffs as a pro, statistically speaking.

Now you can make many excuses, such as fatigue and no support, but the fact is that he did not put his stamp on any series whatsoever.

Even when he's turning the ball over during crucial times and totally half-assing it he's still a pretty good player.

He's been great, but I still think he needs to work on creating better shots for himself. Building some muscle would help too.

Timmy was Timmy...his playoff contributions have been so consistent for so long...when i saw how much he had in the 4th quarter I was surprised.

he was gassed though which would explain those turnovers, none of the Spurs played perfect, but I admired their heart and it started with Timmy.

Are you joking? He basically made Gasol a non-factor this series. He defended the paint and was a big reason why Kobe was settling for jumpshots on the perimeter. He averaged 15 rebounds against the Lakers. Without Tim Duncan, Spurs wouldn't have even made it past the first round. Are you telling me he didn't put a "stamp" on that Suns series??? If so, then I don't think you watched it.

The Hornets series; He was double teamed every single time. Why the do you think Manu Ginobili and Michael Finley and Robert Horry had all those open 3 pointers the entire series? Being the quarterback on offense for your team in an entire series; That's not putting a "stamp" on a series?

I dare you to look at any other Center/Big Man in this league and tell me if they could do what Duncan did this postseason.

    What?

In Game 1 back in April?

Come on... I own a Duncan jersey, too, but he was not dominating like he's been in year's past.

I'm worried that we're on the decline now.

You could just see on that shot he got blocked on he had nothing left.

    The guy gave it all.

That shot Kobe made over him I think killed him alot and hopefully he replays it alot this summer and lets that fire him up.

Duncan was FAR from the problem tonight.

Duncan was not the problem, but I hate when you guys absolve him from everything.

I've defended him in these threads better than you homers have!

Fatigue. No run support. Bad bounces. Shots rattling out.

But the numbers and results do not lie.

This might've been his worst playoffs as a pro.

It might have been but guess what, If Manu did not have to play on one leg we still would have won the series. All 4 losses he was basically non-existant, one game he showed up we blew these guys out of the gym.

Tim Duncan's been on the decline the past few years. It's just been even worse in these playoffs since Manu's been injured and Tony has been ing up like usual. He doesn't take it strong to the rim anymore and he gets the ball stripped from him a lot of the times when he's down low.

And he was not that depressed on press conference

They will try to do something next year.

TD was always the guy for me.
When I started to watch Spurs play, I always was watching Tim. I did not even saw the cutters or other players unless they made a play.
So, well yea TD the man.

Bull he was awesome all playoffs long last year. He was a monster against the Suns, have a tough one against the Hornets and played really well in this series, he had a triple double tonight he is still great
