What I Learned Today

I learned that I should not eat a sandwich while my mouth was still numb from from a visit to dentist's office (had to say so long to a 30 year-old filling).

Words cannot describe the crunching noise I heard when my incisors sank into my bottom lip. I did not feel a thing and I kept on eating, until I saw big spots of blood on the bite marks of the sandwich.
