Too bad that was the highlight of the series for many Hornet fans.
-Game 1 of the Phoenix series
-Manu going off for 37(in back to back games) to beat the Mavs and Jazz without Tim
-Manu out-dueling Lebron(in Cleveland) and hitting some 3's that had me ROFL on his way to 46 and a win.

Manu gutting it out and giving it everything he had against the Lakers, while refusing to make excuses. Him and the Spurs knowing everything was stacking up against them and going out and playing their hearts out anyway...and falling short.
It was also the worst part of the season.
Inspiring and tragic.
Tim Duncan hit a clutch as 3.
No doubt about it.
Duncan's 3 was amazing.. and Barry's travel/failed attempt to draw a foul.

and, Game 1 of the Suns-Spurs series because I was there, and it was the best game I had ever witnessed.
I also loved the end of the 3rd quarter of a Spurs Lakers game back in January where Ime Udoka and Brent Barry hit back to back 3's to end the quarter.
The first 24 games. We were playuing great team basketball and all the bench was competing. It was down hill from Nov. on
Best moments that stuck
1. Beating New Orleans in a hard fought game 7, with the mental edge
2. Game 1 Phoenix. AWESOME. Timmy being Timmy
3. Manu vs. Lebron - That was an insane performance. Missing only five shots. Making all shots in the 4th quarter.
4. Manu repeating a 65-75 percent from the field performance the following week, two games after that with a 44 point game.
5. Tony Parker's 41 point game
6. Manu going ape on Dallas without Timmy.
7. The guts displayed from the whole team this season making it to the WCF, despite their deficiencies
8. Brent Barry returns to San Antonio
9. Manu's stretch of 10 games, playing on a Michael Jordan level setting season highs in all categories.
10. Manu's one handed alley oop interception against New Orleans during his twelve assists night
On an individual skill level, that was entertaining stuff from our guys, as a fan, in hindsight, I wish I could trade the RS highlights for a 2007 type championship just because of the horror I see in the Lakers-Celtics living nightmare.

signing damon stoudamire was definitely the best thing of 2008.
