    What the , graduation for 5th graders? It's not like junior high and high school are a big deal anymore these days. They don't even haze with paddles and anymore.

    My son graduated 8th grade last night and they did the whole cap and gown, tossing of the caps etc. I did ok until the very end when they did this little ritual thing that they've all done since Kindergarden during Chapel...that's when I cried. Just thinking that it would be the last time that group of kids did that together was pretty emotional.

    Eh. I got too many backhanded compliments throughought high school to really be glad my parents were at my graduation.
