Guitar Hero Or Rock Band?

Guitar Hero since that's the only one I've played so far which makes my choices really limited.

I like them both the same, maybe Rockband a bit more because there are more options (i.e. drums, singing, and guitar). But the concepts are both the same and equally entertaining.

Personally, I think GH does guitar a lot better, along with the GH3 controller being the best one overall. We'll have to wait until GH4 comes out to cross examine other instruments, but the drums look badass.

I can say I like Guitar Hero more because of its upcoming games...or because Guitar Hero is the reason Rock Band exists in the first place...

Rock Band 2 has been confirmed as in development for release in late 2008 by Wired. According to Wired, Harmonix is working on improving the instrument controllers but the current controllers will be forward compatible with Rock Band 2. Wired also stated that the game will likely include similar features announced for Guitar Hero World Tour, set also for release in late 2008.

I think GH has it.

Neversoft did GH3 and is doing GH4. Harmonix did GH1 & 2 and then broke off and did Rock Band.

I prefer Harmonix and Rock Band. Neversoft is flat out ripping off Rock Band for GH4.

I had no idea they were coming out with GH4 with other instruments, sweet! The rockband controllers ARE a little "cheap" feeling so it'll be interesting to see what GH4's instruments look like.
