    hey Guys;

    i wonder if the Spurs would consider this guy at all... they have 2 solid PG in Memphis already... any thoughts?

    i think its a a great possibility for our bench solidifying ideas.

    Memphis is hoarding point guards, dontcha know. Why else they trade the foundation of their team away?

    THey're probably sitting on him long enough for West to facilitate a return of Crittendon to the Fakers.

    Seriously though, he's a really big guard (6'5"), who is known primarily as a scorer. Still developing into PG skills. If another option isn't available, sure I'd take a look at him. However if they're gonna deal with Memphis (which I doubt), I'd rather they look at Kyle Lowry. He's a bit more developed than Crittendon.

    I started this same thread a month or more ago, so yeah, I'm on board. At the time, I thought the Griz might be in a position to draft Rose forcing them to move Crittenton. I like the idea of a young, scoring, oversized point. It adds an element to our bench we haven't see before.

    At the time of my post, I suggested that we try to get Crittenton with the Beno Trade Exception. He has more value than that, but Memphis wants to shed payroll. With Lowry and Conley, seems like Crittenton 1.5 is an acceptable loss.

    Considering all we have is Jacque Vaughn, YES!

    Critt if he gets time to shine will be good. He's got the body and the athleticism plus the PG eyes to be a great point for some team. I still wished we would have traded farmar instead, even though Farmar played pretty well this year.

    Spurs don't have the assets to get him. A first and the trade exception for JCritt isn't enough. Besides, the chances of the Grizzlies trading with the Spurs anytime soon is zero after the Spurs were the first ones to call them on the Gasol collusion.

    Exactly as I alluded to earlier in this thread.

    I have to agree on the Farmar part. Critter is much more athletic and overall talented than Farmar. I too would have rather traded Farmar than Critter. Critter has superior point guard size, strength, quickness and handles. Good passing skills too, he just has to develop consistency in his jumper and tone down his game.

    I'd see him as a backup to Manu who should move to starter next year.

    The Grizz have too many guards (Conley, Lowry, Critter, Navaro and vet Mike Miller), they'll have to trade at least one of them.

    Portland, because of Nate McMillan, is in the market for very tall point guards. That's his preference. I'd imagine if 'Critter' (stupidest nickname ever) is on the market the Blazers might be after him. Knowing the Grizzly's judgment of talent, they could have him for a case of toilet paper -- but only if some link with Jerry West can be found.
