    Willful incompetence,

    starting bull wars,

    profligate spending while cutting taxes,

protecting and enriching the corps and super-rich,

    refuse to enforce regulations,

refuse to regulate what must be regulated,

ANYthing to make govt look bad so the people will hate it.

But this is how the REPUGS do governemnt, not how government must be done.

Are The Great American People too stupid to realize what's been going on?

Apparently not. The Democrats have been in control of Congress yet it's looking like they will still win the overall election this fall.

"the Democrats have been in control of Congress"

wonderful! a half-truth from Aggie, that's 1/2 more than usual.

Everybody knows they Dems don't have enough control to ram through their the way the Repugs rammed through their from 1994 - 2006, esp 2000-2006.

If the Repugs get destroyed in the Exec and Legistlative branches in Nov, let's see what the Dems get done in 2009. But even there, your fellow Repugs have so committed the country into Iraq and ed up so much, the Dems will have a hard time just bring the Exec back to zero, never mind making real progress.

dubya's leaving a "poison pill" for the Dems to swallow, in compliance with the Repugs' deep and wide respect for the govt and The Great American People.

The Republican party took the opportunity the people gave them and truly ed it off. Bigger government, bigger deficits, unnecessary war... I would think that in order to be considered conservative a group would have to actually conserve something.
