Can anyone answer me this please. Why is it that in front of everychurch that i pass by, i see a basketball court in front of it. It doesn't matter how big or small the church is, i see a basketball goal in the front. Why?Is there some kind of conspiracy going on here that i'm not aware of?
I'm not sure but my guess would be that churches typically have a flat surface parking lot, an ideal spot for a goal/court. A church is for families and most of them have youth groups or children's ministries where they like to get together for fellowships. They play games and stuff. Churches are typically community-minded also so a court provides a place to play for people who live nearby.
They have them so when you go above the rim, your closer to God.
