    Go Iraq...go!
Less than 48 hours left before the people of Iraq experience free decision making for the first time in their country's modern history.
It's a moment of pure freedom but still surrounded by lots of dangers just like any beautiful rose surrounded by es.
There is fear from the enemies of freedom who have their weapons already prepared to intimidate us and stop us from choosing our future.
But at the same time we're full of hope as we know that we've put our feet on the right track and even if we make a bad choice once, we know that we will have the chance to reevaluate the situation again.
No more tyrants ruling the country for decades.

We're standing before a historic moment and I won't be exaggerating if I said that it's an important moment for the whole world; we're standing before a crossroads and everyone should watch and learn from the rebirth of Iraq.

Regardless of the winners in the se elections, those who opposed the elections and resisted the change will have to deal with the new reality.

In 48 hours from now, the dying dictatorships and their filthy tools, the terrorists, will find themselves facing an elected legitimate government in Iraq.

The tyrants nightmare is becoming reality, now they will have to deal with the scariest word in their dictionaries; THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE.
The terrorists have challenged the bravery of the Iraqi people but they messed with the wrong people. The people have accepted the challenge; democracy and elections are not a luxury for Iraqis, it's an issue of life or death. And the terror brutal campaign has only made the people more determined to go on with the change.

The results of some recent polls that have shown how determined Iraqis are to hold the elections might have surprised you, but they weren't a surprise for us; we're not the kind of people that kneel to terror and the sights of blood and beheadings.

Saddam had tried all tools of oppression, killing and torture he could find against our people (including WMD's) but he failed to make the people believe in his hateful regime. And that's why the people abandoned him and now, he and his regime are just a bad old tale from the past.

On Sunday, the sun will rise on the land of Mesopotamia. I can't wait, the dream is becoming true and I will stand in front of the box to put my heart in it.

    Mohammed.

thats great but id rather have back the 1000+ servicemen who were kia.

its great that we can have a president reelected as some great war hero on the backs and blood of the lower classes who hes exploiting through irrational fears about threats to their "values" so he can shift the tax burden of the wealthy onto the backs of everyone else.

I'm about to go to the voting center to cast my vote and I thought I should post few words to thank all my friends, the readers of this blog for their support and love for me, my brothers and all Iraqis. There was some fire exchange early this morning and American helicopters were patroling the sky above my head but now it seems quite. I turned on TV to see if there was any coverage but no Arab channel is reporting yet.
Al Sharqyia is broadcasting live from a voting center obviously in the Green Zone where Ghazi Al Yawi voted and gave a short speech to the reporters there. He wasn't the first one to cast his vote as Al Sharqyia reporter expected which actually was better in my mind. He's just an Iraqi like all of us and there's no need to give him such a priviliage.
I hope I'll be able to post after voting and I'll keep you updated. Thanks again for your care and may God bless you all and give you a hundred times what you have gave Iraq. I know it seems impossible when it comes to those who lost their beloved ones but I hope they know that theie sacrifices were not in vain and that they gave humanity the most precious thing a man has, his life.
I fear only one thing and that is that only small percentage of Iraqis vote. I hope and expect the opposite but as I said before everyone has been speaking on behalf of Iraqis for a long time and therfore it's very difficult to tell what they are going to do. I trust that my people want freedom and democracy but I fear that it's the difficult security that may keep them inside their houses. This is all my concerns now about the elections and I hope that the majority of Iraqis overcome their fears and say their word, and then all the reporters, experts, activists and politicians can do is listen.

    The New Democratic Iraq Born!

No more 99.99 % in Iraq!
This is the figure of the Arabs' dictators except Saddam!
    He used to get 100%!

Surprisingly those who voted for the master of the mass graves are abstaining now!

    Our voting is:
    No to the terrorists!
    No to the dictatorships!
    No to hate and racism!
    No to the fascists!
    No to the Nazis!
No to the mentally re ed tyrants!
No to the ossified, narrow-minded and intolerants!

The Iraqis are voting in few hours time for the new Iraq.

We are going to create our future by ourselves not by dictators.

    We are going to say:
Yes for the freedom and democracy!
    Yes for the civilized Iraq!
    Yes for peace and prosperity!
    Yes for coexistence!
    Yes for the New Iraq!

Let them bomb and kill us. It will not deter us!
Let them send their dogs to suck our bones. We care not!
Let them bark. It will not frighten us.
Let them see how civilised to be free and democratic!
Let them die by our vote tomorrow! It is the magic bullet which will kill them!

    Welcome New Iraq.
    Welcome freedom and democracy.
Welcome peace and prosperity for all nations with out exception but terrorists!

I think that is a fair statement. My only regret is that I don't have cable to watch wall to wall coverage.

Some things never change from day to day. The Hatfields & McCoys were both Americans yet hated each other because of their namesake. I don't think most of us have a hard time realizing that was ridiculous. Democrats & Republicans! Same situation???? I have done my share of insulting and mud slinging on this forum but, I, for one, am going to do my best to be a better person. I am tired of all the petty bickering done by both sides and will try very hard to be objective in the future even when insulted. Hooray for Iraq!
