no way... his old herache(or however it's spelt) back in like 2005&2006 were awesome but these hyperdunks are hideous. unless there's some rave out there that's gonna flood the nation with ballers who lay claim that these shoes are the best on the court i'm not purchasing a pair. that's some fugly ass on that foot.

I'll be getting a pair, and the mamba's I purchased a few months back are the best shoes I've ever worn playing ball.

I'm at least going to try them on and see. Weight is usually my number one priority with BB shoes and these are apparently only a miniscule 13 oz. I think they look great too- especially the all black ones. We'll see, but probably.

I don't think they look particularly great.

I thought his second shoe with adidas was amazing. One of the most comfortable basketball shoes I've played in. Only problem was I played a lot of basketball back then (at least 4-5 times a week for a couple hours each day... ah to be a college student again) and they got worn out quick in like 3-4 months. Light and comfortable but did not last long.

I wear any of the Nike Kobe's shoes...definately one of the lightest ones out there.

I still cnat believe i bought the Tmacs (the one without the shoe laces) That metal contraption that tightened the shoes must have weighed 5 pounds lol

One question, how much are they? I typically don't like to go out and spend 150 dollars on a pair of shoes, unless they're team shoes and i'm going to be wearing them for a whole season.

I dont know..but ive been always able to buy his new shoes for less than a bill...lots of places have pretty good sales for his shoes.

What's cool is that the crosslinked fibers are made out of some proprietary material Nike developed known as FlyWire - supposedly 5 of them can support a 200 lb. person. I gained a lot of respect for the shoes when I learned that the cool looks are actually functional and not just aesthetic.
