So I'm watching the Draft preview on NBA TV...they are talking with & using the guy from DraftExpress.com to predict which players will go where..basically a TV show about his mock draft....I watch from the lottery picks on, waiting for them to get to #26....they get to Houston at #25 & say that CDR would be a good fit...SA's next up and all of a sudden they skip right to #27 without even mentioning the Spurs or what they should do....wtf?...not that I wanted to hear about him thinking Anderson would be a good pick for us, but at least talk about team needs or something..

I'm so used to the Spurs not getting attention that I'm never surprised anymore. It's part of being a Spurs fan.

I'm also used to not getting any attention...the Spurs like it that way, but this is just blatant...they talk about every team & their needs, but you just decide to skip #26 because???

Would you rather him say something like, "I have no idea what the Spurs will do but they'll probably select an international player I have no research on which makes me look unprepared and completely incompetent, but sorry, I don't know who Kirabeenko Horseradishlav is and what his strengths and weaknesses are."

I saw the same show......it was funny.

they skipped the spurs, but then stopped the mock draft completely with the pick right after the spurs. I would like to have heard something about that Anderson guy, but that tool doing the mock draft probably has no idea what direction the spurs will go in. can't really blame him though.......the spurs are unpredictable.

Most credible mock drafts at least try to make some sort of guess.

    1. Born and raised in Detroit and follow all Detroit sports teams.
    2. Kobe Bryant is one of many players in the NBA not on the Detroit Pistons who I appreciate as a player. Among others and who I have also sported in my signature are Allen Iverson and Manu Ginobili.
    3. Been a member of Spurstalk since June of 2005.

Why waste your time wanting to watch 5 minutes of vague Spurs coverage(of the draft of all events) when you get everything at 10x the detail here?

I never understood these promises. The teams are under no contractual obligation to pick a guy based on a promise, and say for some weird reason a guy like Bayless falls to 27, you think they would still take Chalmers?
