Blazers, Clippers, Knicks Interested In Moving Down?
    Jun 24, 2008 4:55 PM EST

The Blazers, Clippers, and Knicks are reportedly interested in trading down in Thursday's NBA Draft, according to The New York Times.

Portland has the thirteenth pick, Los Angeles the seventh, and New York holds the fifth selection.

All three teams need veterans more than additional youth, even with the glutton of talented young men that seem primed to break out in the professional ranks.

"It’s a tough call," the Eastern Conference player personnel director said. "You don’t want to get caught passing up a Randolph or Gordon because they could take three or four years to develop. It’s easier to write about doing it and say a team could do it than it is for a team to actually do it."

clippers are rumored to deal the 7th+maggette to the suns for barbs and 15th, to me thats a highway robbery. might as well trade the 7th+maggette to us for the 45th, 57th, 26th, Beno's TE, Matt Bonner and Vangh.
