With Kobe's assurance to USA Basketball that he will suit up for the Olympic team to Beijing means that despite losing the NBA Finals, our superstar will undoubtedly be considered the team leader and hence will be expected to carry the load of Team USA in its bid to reclaim the gold medal since 2000.

    And if he leads them to the top step of the podium, the NBA Finals debacle will greatly be alleviated!!!

    i'd root for him if I didn't read like this daily..

    lol the only reason i dislike the lakers are the fans...

    its not that i dont like kobe... i do... but id rather see him fail cuz i like the feeling the laker fans get.
