Dirk Nowitzki having ‘tough time’ personally

Mavericks All-Star Dirk Nowitzki offered no explanation Thursday about the arrest of a woman at his home, saying only that he is having personal troubles now.
When asked about his relationship with 37-year-old Cristal Taylor, who was arrested on a probation violation and theft of services warrants Wednesday, Nowitzki declined comment.
“It’s pretty obvious that I’m going through a tough time in my personal life right now, but like I always have, I want to kind of keep my private life private,” he said. “I’m not at the stage where I can talk about it yet and feel comfortable talking about it.”
The Mavericks trail Denver 2-0 in the Western Conference semifinals entering Game 3 on Saturday.
“I’ll be ready,” said Nowitzki, who returned with his team from Denver on Wednesday afternoon.
Dallas police said Taylor was taken into custody Wednesday morning at Nowitzki’s home. Kim Leach, a spokeswoman for the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department, said Taylor has eight aliases.
The theft charge is from Jefferson County, Texas. Bond was set at $20,000 on the theft of services charge and no bond was set on the probation violation out of St. Charles, Mo. The Dallas Morning News reported Taylor was serving a probation sentence for two counts of forgery and one count of felony stealing.
Jail records did not indicate if Taylor had an attorney.
Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle said he didn’t expect this matter to affect the team.
“When you’re in NBA basketball and professional sports for a lot of years, there are a lot of distractions. … We’ll get through it,” Carlisle said. “This is a private, personal issue and I think we all need to respect that.”
Jason Kidd said the team was focused and had a great practice Thursday, its first since losing Game 2 on Tuesday night.
“I think he’s going to be fine,” Kidd said. “He’s a human being. Life isn’t perfect and you move on and learn from it. … We look for him to have a great game come Saturday.”
In a May 6 story about the arrest of a woman at the home of Dallas Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki, it was erroneously reported that FBI agents made the arrest. Dallas police officers, not FBI agents, made the arrest.

I think he was at a club, drunk, saw her when her hair and face was all did, took her home, ed her, knocked her up, forgot about it, she came back a couple months later saying she was prego sauce, he agrees to take care of her until she has the baby or whenever, this happens.

Yes. That's what it means to be "having trouble in your personal life." If she had gotten caught turning tricks out of the guest bedroom, he would have said that the two of them "have been going through a difficult period" in their relationship. That's why people hire public relations firms. They can think up stuff like that for you.
BTW - has anyone looked into the rumor that she is the same woman who used to be married to John Daly? The stories are similar enough.

Sherrie Daly filed for a divorce last year but the couple still lived together at their residence near the Southwind golf course where Daly played last week in the Stanford St. Jude Championship.

Whatever, Daly, a two-time major winner who has been without his PGA Tour card for two years now, has had his former old lady arrested on charges that she stole his cell phone from his RV. Somehow seems fitting.

There have been all kinds of crazy, inconsistent stories about this woman all season. Guess Dirk finally got wind of it and hired a PI.
He can not bail her out. Until the Warrant charges have been heard by the court in Beaumont for theft by fake credit card for $11,000 worth of dental services and the Warrant in Missorri for theft by check has been heard by the court, no one can get her out of jail. Not even a rich athlete.
By the way, it is also being reported that she was a stripper in the Beaumont area about 10 years ago. And she has a couple of more alias names. i think she is up to 10-12 alias names now.
She is a professional scamming biactch. And i would dam sure have a paternity test on the child when and if it pops out! Not to mention gimme back that $250,000 engagement ring i gave you !
