Portugal finally playing up to their potential, should have given Santos the boot years ago. Even Ronaldo seems to be a more willing passer these days. Still think they lose to Spain or Germany, two teams that have been Portugal's achilles heel historically. Germany still my pick to win it...

I didn’t know the us school system doesn’t team how the court system work. I thought it’s in the high school history curriculum or something like that.

I think they see Amen as their future PG tbh. And he can’t shoot so pairing a wing with him that can is helpful. I don’t really care about Eason. But I did forget about Whitmore. He had a nice solid rookie season. I think Greem is a part of their future going forward so I don’t know if they will...

People need to stop trying to make him Dennis Rodman. He’s never going to average 15 boards. Don’t know if anyone else noticed, but he stopped wild coloring his hair towards the end of the year, just going plain blonde.

The draft is ALL about projection. You get players with defined roles and set skills through free agency or trade. You use the draft to take upside swings on kids with a base set of skills that have the potential to grow beyond them. I actually think that Castle is one of the more high-floor...

If your front office followed this model, you’d win 35-40 games per year, and never draft a star. You’d never draft a Giannis. You’d never draft a Jokic. You’ve gotta break a few eggs to make an omelet, and that includes some failed draft picks. BTW, Castle needs some of the least development...

Lots of interesting tidbits here, but the Walter one is probably the most fascinating. At #8, I wouldn't hate it, but the "top 5" comment from Harris and now this has me a little worried.

I don't want to develop skills. I want players that already have skills. Castle needs too much development. He needs at least 2 more years in college. Let another team develop him and then make a play/trade for him later after the development..."IF" he even develops. Wait and see. Spurs...

These are very valid points, thanks for making me go back and looking more closely - Cam Whitmore should have been included, but he got filtered out by mistake due to my rebounding filter to try and weed out bigs. Tari Eason didn't shoot enough 3s to meet this criteria, while Jaylen Brown shot too...

I see Salaün almost as a lock at 8. (unless some other team picks him before 8). many here are complaining about the lack of talent and the lack of sure fire star potential in this draft. so what will teams do, especially those with more than one pick? you use at least one of your picks to...

I think it has very slim chance to be better than 12th-15th with teams gonna tank very hard this year while Atlanta the opposite with not having their pick... Trading #8 and next year Atlanta pick for this year #1 should sound very appealing to us!

Your post is kind of contradicting itself. You want Houston to take Risacher over Sheppard, but then you say Sheppard is a way better prospect. Rockets have Jabari, Amen, Eason and Whitmore. Four young wings in the rotation. Brooks might not be a long-term piece, but he's still there and has a...

Did you miss my point about other prospects likely being scouted by Buford “multiple times” going unreported? Also I’ve only seen one report of Buford being out there, so no need to stretch things. Just because that’s the only information we have, doesn’t mean that those are the only facts.

Yep, I never got the nepo-baby feel from him, regardless of whether it's true or not. Solid indeed. Truth or Consequences, N.M. is a good look at his directing and acting chops. Worth a view (or a revisit). The 90s might be the best all-around decade for films, ever. Even the garbage of that...

Sochan is doing fine. For a wing, year 3 is usually when things pick up. Guards are year 4. As a year two player, he was asked to mark the best player on the other team that wasn't a big. Steph, Durant, Fox, Tatum, etc. That's a big bloody deal.

Yup, "just" that. Not presuming anything, but I haven't seen anything on my part that tells me we'll necessarily see any more growth than the marginal and natural one young players get with experience. He can't really rebound cos he's undersized and not that strong, and he can't shoot the 3...

I don't think there's any red flags as in do-not-draft on his processing speed other than being very young in a new role And the reason is that if his processing was really that bad, he would have a lot fewer assists and a lot more turnovers. Instead, as a freshman age player being on ball...
