Been thinking more about the reports that both NO and PHX would like to move out of their FRP for SRPs.
If the Spurs don't want a 3rd FRP this year, might they still be able to play facilitator role with their abundance of SRPs?
The Mavs, for example, are a team without an FRP this year but...
I don't know wtf people are loling about here, Copa has been great so far, tbh.
Great atmosphere, great games, beautiful women on the stands, 70 and 80k packed stadiums, actually distinguishable styles of plays and uniforms. :lol
You either die a hero or you live long enough to be a villain is what happened to Givony. But the gullible people here will eat up anything he shits out so…
Yeah I think anyone discounting defense from the argument needs to go back and watch every defensive possession in the second-half of the Knicks home win on repeat.
Brunson scored 38 points in the half mostly from just walking past Tre Jones who offered as much resistance on the perimeter as...
I still like Carter. Sure, theres risk and all of what OP said is true, but theres something for a turbo charged defender that just sits right with me especially because his shot goes in decently if he gets it off.
This is sort of why I mocked so many “rookie wave” scenarios. I know it’s supposed to be a crappy draft but if we are to believe SA is higher on this than most, why couldn’t SA walk away with 3 guys in the first round of this draft if someone they really like falls and its cheaper than usual to...
It's hard to me to believe any player has risen or fallen all that much. If guys like Dilly and Holland are now thought of as late-lotto picks, they were likely always thought of that way by teams. If teams liked those players, they probably aren't freaking out about them not blowing up the combine...
Wemby could literally see a regression in production if that happens. I see folks freely predicting a lineup of Tre, Vassell, Castle, Sochan and Wemby as if such lineup had any chance of working in today's NBA. :lol
I’ve heard the crying about his form but Al Horford shot looks hideous to me and goes in. BOS shot 33% in the Finals aka not a high bar. Sochan actually had pretty good touch on his shot.
It definitely does, if he doesn't develop his shot at a respectable level, he can be elite at everything else and it won't matter. Name me one championship level guard that can't shoot on today's NBA.
Yeah. He's nineteen years old. He's going to be a rookie.
Here's a place where rules are selectively applied. Stephon Castle is treated like he's twenty-seven years old and a grizzled vet who is who he is. Whereas, dunno, the guys from his same high school class - which is everyone else - are...
Just have to see how it shakes out! Hopefully he can at least be a Marcus Smart type where he can play point guard enough and defend at a high level and have the occasional 3PT make at 33%+
Is he Jimmy Butler? Is he Dante Exum or Evan Turner? Hard to tell
I hope you are right, but I really doubt that's the case, specially on his rookie season. Defense is the toughest skill to translate to the NBA, the folks you have to guard are immensely more skilled and there's a lot more space to cover. Castle wouldn't be the first defensive prospect coming out...
Dude is like next level corrupt. I am impressed in a very horrified way at his malicious evil.
Michael Flynn's Charity Grift Is Huge Grift, Surprise!
The Flynn family will get right on finding those sex traffickers, right after they cash some checks.
Joke’s on you, people who said...
Im excited for him. Unlike so many others (maybe not here but on X) that seem so set on saddling Wemby with all defensive responsibilities and saying “who cares if they suck on defense we have Wemby!” I would prefer to make defense a real strength
Of course theres a balance and can have trash...
Yup and no one is truly drafting those guys based on realistic expectations they are shooters. Thats not even factored into their worth. Castles largely hinges on it.
