Thanks. This year I used a spreadsheet and projections and worked it until it was optimised. It is 33-20-1.

In fact, I have 6 teams this year and they are currently coming 2nd/2nd (hth, 12 team), 4th/7th (roto, 12 team, my first year playing roto - team coming 4th is on the rise, team coming 7th lost picks 4-7 with injury over last month), 1st/9th (Dynasty Leagues, 20-team).

it's a good position to be in..they're around 10 mil$ in expirings together IIRC, so acquiring another big man could be possible..

obviously there's still the chance that Finley is used in a significant role when he returns though..I'll be hoping every moment that he doesn't, but it is Pop, so you never know..

Spurs extend Charlotte’s road woes in 104-85 win (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/recap?gid=2009121124&prov=ap)
By Paul J. Weber

The Charlotte Bobcats still can’t find a way to win on the road, and the San Antonio Spurs are still solid at home.

Now the road beckons for the Spurs—and they’re not much better out there than Charlotte.

Manu Ginobili scored 22 points and San Antonio beat the Bobcats 104-85 on Friday night to give the Spurs the momentum of consecutive wins before starting a three-game West Coast swing on Sunday that will be their longest road trip yet.

“We only have ourselves to deal with,” on the road Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said. “There is no family or friends around, so we’re stuck with each other.”

Stephen Jackson had 23 points for the Bobcats, who fell to 1-9 on the road and won’t get any breaks in Dallas on Saturday night against the Mavericks—a team the Bobcats have never beaten.

The Spurs, meanwhile, have gotten 10 of their 11 wins this season at home but are just 1-5 on the road. Then there’s this: the Spurs have already played 14 home games, and will only play 12 after Feb. 1 for the stretch run.

San Antonio will play the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday before going to Phoenix and Golden State.

“If we come back here and build on that, we’ll feel good about ourselves,” said Tim Duncan, who scored 17 points. “Those are some very winnable games for us.”

This was nearly a winnable game for Charlotte, too. The Bobcats nearly rallied from a 22-point deficit in the third quarter, making road win No. 2 look possible for a moment.

The Spurs led 65-43 two minutes into the second half when Charlotte began to push. Gerald Wallace scored 12 of his 18 points in the third, the league’s best defense held San Antonio to five field goals in the quarter and the Bobcats went on a 28-7 run.

But trailing 72-71 to start the fourth was as close as Charlotte would get. The Bobcats crumbled again quickly, letting San Antonio shoot 71 percent in the fourth while being outscored 32-14.

“We didn’t get to the free-throw line and we took some bad shots,” Charlotte coach Larry Brown said. “We had a great comeback and we did some great things. We also did some unfortunate things.”

It was not the prettiest game: the Spurs and Bobcats combined for 49 personal fouls and 47 turnovers, including a season-high 28 for San Antonio.

But the Spurs nonetheless continued their dominance over Charlotte, improving to 10-1 in the all-time series. Dallas is the only team in the NBA that Charlotte has never beaten.

Boris Diaw scored 10 and was Charlotte’s only other player in double figures.

Ginobili scored 20 points in the first half, including four 3-pointers, then made just one shot the rest of the game. He finished 7 of 12 from the floor.

Notes: Charlotte F Derrick Brown crumbled to the floor getting walloped by the giant arm of Spurs C Theo Ratliff beneath the basket in the third. Brown pump faked and caught Ratliff in mid-air, and Ratliff was issued a flagrant foul. Brown stayed in the game … Spurs coach Gregg Popovich needs three wins for 700 career victories.

Yep. As I have kind of been saying, we don't need any of those players. Why couldn't they have been offered in a trade to Goldenstate though?

Anyway I would definitely like to see if we can trade any of them for a big man. The Bulls could be a team that we can look at. Maybe the Bulls need the veteran experience of Finley?

Just got done watching it...how the hell do we hold the Bobcats to 85 points while committing 28 turnovers? lmao.

This team is getting closer. I loved how they shook off the bad 3rd quarter to refocus and lock them down for the win...and a blowout win at that. I was expecting the game to stay much closer.

We are seeing flashes of what this team can be. Let's keep sanding down them rough edges....

Good game. Larry Brown always puts interesting challenges out there. This Bobcats team will win a bunch of games if they listen to their coach. He started to soft double Manu in the second half after getting burned in the first. He threw a full court press for stretches that really got us confused out there. Obviously, with all the new guys, it's hard to figure out where we're going to get our shot out when a play breaks.

This Spurs team is starting to resemble the 2003 team, that was also incredibly talented, and use to blow 20 point leads incredibly, only to end up winning the games with solid defense at the end.
Just imagine what this would have been if we only turned it over half the time!

This game was so bad there were moments I considered cheering for the Bobcats. I give Pop respect for trying to right this lost ship, but I'm not sure if there's any easy way to make sense of this team right now.

What confused me most about Pop tonight was his insistence in the second half to keep running at the Bobcats. Perhaps he thought we could get easy points, but his insistence to push the pace came at about the same time I thought that the Spurs should quit trying to run at all right now. Just slow it down. I don't think I've ever seen a worse fast breaking team in my life. It's like a turnover every other time. College teams can throw better outlet passes than this. This team has no idea how to run a fast break . It's stunning how bad we are at it. Even Tim didn't know what he was doing tonight. Parker got assists but was absolutely awful in directing the team. I see no sense of purpose from him half the time. There was what seemed like a 5 minute stretch in the second half where Mason didn't touch the ball once, and he was open on the three point line with no one within ten feet of him. Instead everyone else kept barreling down the lane getting stripped or making some god awful pass.

I think the team is in shock with the realization that they aren't that good right now.

It was great to see Dice awake from his slumber - this at least convinces me he can turn it up a notch still, and I have faith he will be a contributor in the postseason.

Anyway - not sure why Blair didn't play. I sense some stupid mind games from Pop trying to crush his confidence.

This was a win but felt like a blowout loss.

Manu was did good and nice to see Parker having so much assists again. But his scoring was pretty low. Anyway, it was a win, that's what counts.

I never thought I can see the day when Parker's averaging 10 assists
