Does anyone know how much longer with Pop we have? Is it the 2 years left on LA's contract? I remember him promising to stay with him or something. I think it's time for a change.

The Spurs came back with Pau in your fool.

Pau is +0 in this game and LA is -18, so STFU.

Youre a fucking retard

Kyle is playing like LMA should tbh..just so smooth and calm and bullies dudes down low. Or makes the right pass like LM struggles with.

Well the spurs were down 12 and they got a stop. The ball went out on Durant but of course the refs missed it and what do you know... The warriors hit a 3 and then another. I never believed the spurs would win this game but shit like that sucks for any team. Fuck the refs

The reports on his injury.

Are you serious? Are they saying it could have long term consequences?

:tu
absolutely.
He has better ball handling and passing. A lot more patient with his book shots too.
Needs to play more.
Maybe some other team... cause Pop certainly hasn't given him enough run at the spot that seem ideal for him.

Yes. I'm serious. The reason he is held out is because if the played IT COULD have long term consequences. Hence, him not playing so as not to risk that.

bklynspursfan

I'd rather Bertans. Unless Anderson's shooting takes a leap in the summer. But Anderson should probably get a few more mins next season

TheDoctor
05-22-2017, 09:59 PM
Yes. That is why he was held out. The ankle has no long-term damage now, but that is why he can't play. The risk of damage is too great.

What?!? Kawhi's injury had long term consequences?!? You kidding me???

Well if that is the case, OK, but I thought you were saying that there could be long-term damage without him even playing. That's how I took it.

Why won't anyone admit that Mills isn't worth more than he's currently getting currently paid. People want him back for 8 million or something like that which they consider cheap. I'd consider that massively overpaying.

Dude $3 mill/yr is peanuts for a 10 PPG spark plug off the bench.

That shit right there has got to change. It's not just moving screens anymore, they just fucking grab and hold. That's a penalty in the damn NFL.

The other thing is the ball handlers/shooters. When they want some space, they just stick a hand in the defender's chest and shove him back a step. They've effectively buried the rules to create these offensive juggernauts. But it's not basketball anymore.

I wasn't even thinking about Simmons when I made that statement. I'd be giving Simmons the money they were considering giving Mills and letting Mills walk.

I over exaggerated a little bit on his ppg these playoffs, Mills still average 10ppg, but yeah, he got more minutes and did nothing with them. He shot around 41% from the field and 36% from three point range. Jonathon Simmons averaged more ppg is less minutes per game with superior defense for under 1 million dollars. Chinook said you can't get that anywhere else. Spurs got that from another player on their own team with better defense, height, fg%, similar 3pt% and a lot less money.

Simmons is going to get at least $8 Million next season, and that's only because the Arenas rule caps his salary. But you keep changing the subject. You said Mills was worth that he's being paid now. That's completely not true. You're not going to find a proven guy better than Mills for that money. Can you luck into one or draft one? Possible. I am hoping for some changes but I am probably delusional that Mills won't be back. He's just so inadequate. McCaw and Ian Clark are better more versatile guards than him and McCaw is a better athlete and longer. Forbes can replicate him. Simmons is better all around except shooting. Murray is extremely talented. Mills was the worst guard on the floor the entire series.

Really he's an overrated chucker frankly. He can get insanely hot but I prefer those shooting go to Bertans for example.

I am actually afraid Pop is running this thing right back while leaving young players still in the doghouse.
