Pop needs to cut the crap and have White finish games no matter what, specially without DeRozan out there. He's the only steady hand besides DeMar that can get us to our sets when assholes get tight. Without him out there it looked like last season's Spurs with folks looking scared as shit while trying to make an entry pass to Aldridge.

Lots of options with both White and Murray. I thought about what an Aldridge, Gay, DeRozan, Murrray, White lineup would look like. Not enough outside shooting from deep. Maybe Murray or White, and Gay end up spending a lot more time leading the second unit.
I am actually waiting to see if next year whether there could be a second team line up of White, Murray, Walker, Bertans and poeltl.

White finished with 15 pts, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 0 turnovers.
It's still mystifying why Forbes is getting more minutes than White. Forbes finished -19 in 32 minutes while White was +7 in 29 minutes.

Lonzo doesn't deserve anything based on his play, but he's the biggest draw/star the NBA will have in this game outside of Doncic, he was getting in regardless:lol

Best game of the season even with all the bad fouls. I think it’s time to raise his ceiling and RC has done again. White has the poise of a 10 year vet and plays with such a great pace, always in command. It’s going to be fun with a Murray White backcourt.

Many Spurs fans knew he could be this good, that's why many of us were higher on the Sixers or Clippers deals than the Toronto one. Of course you never know with these type of things but if PATFO didn't see it as a possibility, I don't know what to say.
The real scary proposition is thinking what would have happened with White if Murray never got injured.

Yessir. I pointed out last spring that DWhite had played fewer minutes on the big team than any recent Spurs first round pick, even though he looked plenty good in those few minutes. There are still probably plenty of ST posters who want Murray to be the PG - at least there were plenty until last week. I just hope Pop understands which Spur needs to be the guy running the show.

TP was a legitimate all-star despite his heroitis though. With Murray, I kind of have a feeling that he is just a fraud.
Potential deals :
Sixers - Saric, Covington, 10th pick (Mikael Bridges on Suns)
Clippers - Harris, Harrell (S/T) 12th (Miles Bridges) 13th (Micheal Porter?)
Plus there is still a great chance we still get LW4 at 18th and Metu in 2nd round. I liked either one, Sixers more because Danny wouldn't be in the deal.
White/Murry/Mills
Green/ Bridges
Covington /Gay
Saric/Bertans
Aldridge/Metu

Remember early in the season he was really deferring to veterans. He'd drive right to the basket and then instead of taking his due, he'd pass off to a big man. Sometimes the big couldn't believe he didn't take the shot and wasn't ready so he'd blow the layup/ ]
Now Derrick is taking those layup himself when open. His confidence is high and he is proving to be highly capable as a scorer. The evolution of a good prospect into a good solid player is taking place before us. This team is fun to watch as it develops.
