I don't recall Duncan at the age of 28 missing over 20 games due to resting. Don't be a homer you are smart enough to know the Spurs were not holding out the big 3 over 20 plus games a year when they were in their 20's. The resting stuff didn't start until Duncan was around 35. Even then the most games he missed was 13 in a season prior to his final season where he missed over 20 plus due to legitimately having a bum knee.

#2 not being healthy is just laughable at this point. He's very healthy. I see nothing wrong with him when he plays. He's very spry on both ends of the court. theres a conflict of interest between the league (prioritizing profit) and the teams (prioritizing long term winning/health of players). the regular season might not mean much for the latter, but the league sees money as money, whether its earned in reg season or postseason. same with fans who pay to see a game. if i bought a ticket because the spurs were coming to down and then on game day i learn that duncan/manu weren't playing for purely load management, i'd be pretty frustrated. im not gonna sit and enjoy watching the spurs take it up the ass because "well i know playoffs matter more"

He even said in a recent interview refs miss calls and he needs to do better... He is young... He will get better at that and everything else...

Second game of a back to back, on the road, against a playoff team and without Lebron and AD. Lakers got an early lead and hit timely shots throughout the entire game, to withstand OKC's attempts to comeback.

Some interesting matchups in the next couple of weeks. A few road games against playoff teams the Lakers haven't played yet (76ers, Celtics, Rockets), plus the 3rd game vs the Clippers. Also, a few games in between where the Lakers can rest players, if they decide to go that route.

I think (hope) last night was a turning point for Kuz. I saw Rondo looking for him. I saw his midrange game and 3ball. Tear drops. Getting loose after solid D39 screens - and shooting with confidence.

He had his "rookie season repertoire" of moves/shots going. I think (hope) this is sustainable (not 36 points; consistent threat to get buckets) if he is option 1 on the 2nd unit.

Taking out AD, Bron and DG to see what Kuz could do (during trade season no less) forced him to show what he can do. Kuz came out swinging and it was beautiful to see
