Ah, election night confusion. A report from CNN claimed that there were only 130,000 or so votes left in DeKalb County. If true, that would be bad news for the Democrats because it’s a very blue county and Democrats need a big total from there to take the lead. But Gabriel Sterling, the voting system implementation manager for Georgia’s secretary of state, corrected them to say that more than 171,000 early votes are going to be uploaded by DeKalb. And that makes sense, as the state’s data said that 171,000 early votes had been cast in DeKalb. Now with slightly more than 90 percent of the expected vote in statewide, DeKalb looms large. Literally — it’s the huge blue dot on this New York Times map of remaining votes:

There's a few hispanic movements in Arizona and the Rio Grande Valley. There will definitely be money pits, the sunrise movement being one of them, I'd stay they fuck away from those assholes. They claim victory, but all they do is go after safe Dem seats so I wouldn't put money into them.

Such an interesting question if this run-off finishes as expected and the Senate is in fact 50-50. So I had to look up the other instances where a president died in office. Each of those 8 times, the Vice President who became President did not appoint or carry a Vice President for the remainder of that term.

At Biden’s age and with a 50-50 Senate if that does happen, adding a VP would appear to be almost necessary for that one important duty specifically to break ties in the Senate.

Sorry, I’m not answering the question. I don’t know the answer. Just providing detail that makes the question a pretty critically relevant one.
