In a diplomatic chamber.

And precisely where Carter reminded Teddy Kennedy of what he said to Mary Jo Kopechne when she informed Teddy she was pregnant..."We'll cross that bridge when we get to it."

No more Teddy Kennedy running for President. But, big deal. Let you, Cry, for instance leave a pregnant woman in a lake to drown while you wander back to town for lunch first, help last. And all you lost was the Presidency of the United States. Eh? Woo Hoo!

Huh, weird, almost like he's either a giant pussy considering the MAGAts here insist it was just a bunch of people walking around, or there was a credible threat on his life.here's his reply (http://https://x.com/SenMullin/status/1724489116169982201?s=20) to a podcast invite:

Mike Johnson passes a clean CR with the help of Democrats

The House on Tuesday passed a two-tiered stopgap spending measure that would keep some agencies funded into January and others into February, and gives the Senate just a few days to avoid a government shutdown.
The measure required broad bipartisan support due to the legislative procedure used for its passage and a majority of Democrats ultimately opted to back the bill after dozens of Republicans voted against it. The continuing resolution follows a plan House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., unveiled over the weekend, averting a funding lapse Friday by dividing government funding into two buckets. The first bucket would fund the departments of Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, Energy, Veterans Affairs and Agriculture and would run through Jan. 19. The second measure would fund the rest of government through Feb. 2.

Clean CR at full 2023 levels!

Damn, the MAGAs crowd didn’t just bend the knee, they bent over, opened wide, and said, may I have another! :lol

Just two Democrats voted against the CR, a point which Roy nodded to online after the vote (https://x.com/chiproytx/status/1724569305092702370?s=46&t=NxdFBebcC1xHgxwMuQxX1Q). Meanwhile, 93 House Republicans opposed the stopgap measure, three more than opposed the September continuing resolution which cost McCarthy his gavel.

It's actually only when they have guns and the people they're threatening don't have anything. As we saw at Uvalde, if the other side has guns, this is their story:

You got some nerve, Cry. Your ego couldn't take Trump for 1 minute as President before you threatened to blow him, his wife, and their only child up in the damn White House. Then you compounded your ego by threatening to cut his head off and shoot him to death numerous times.

You're an egomaniac.

They threatened to blow up the White House and cut off his head. And you know it.

Let me try it, Winester. They'd be on the front lawn with 15 tons of equipment at dawn and would blow my head off as soon as I poked it out the front door. And would then run for the CNN hook-up lookin' for the hand out for the story. "Some crazy Trumper, was on a site where they tried to bring him around, but he refused. His wife is lousy for the death certificate talking about a Metropolitan Life Insurance Policy from like '70."

It's not just that. There's no "God's wrath" coming. The only wrath is his own, which basically means being perennially bitter and butthurt.

If he feels so strongly about the world being irredeemable, he should just off himself and go have a conversation with the invisible dude in the sky, instead of trying to ruin it for everyone else.

Are you sure about that? I know the NY GOP folks are going to try, but at least Johnson isn't on board with it.

A lot of republicans were waiting for the Ethics Report, so the third time was the charm. Johnson wasn’t on board again. Fortunately, it didn’t matter.

Buh-Bye, Santos..
