Some might think it's folly to use that as a positive data point but if that's you, you haven't been paying attention. Misses often become impetus. No Micah Hudson led to Ryan Wingo. And Edwards was not viewed in the same light as Crowell. Crowell was viewed as the top back in America when he was in the 2027 class. Im going to be more likely to trust Hamilton.

And I am not an expert at film watching but it appears to me that Turntine has amazing balance and very quick feet for a big guy. There is some film of him "shaving" the DE and getting down field and destroying very quick guys in the secondary by just staying in front of them. Like they could not get out of his zone of influence. Then of course the stoning and moving of HS DEnds almost directly in front of him.
But I just dont completely know what kind of talent is right in front of him. So I guess getting some camp film would be helpful and guys like Hamilton get to see matchups involving equal talent with their eyes.

I guess the fact he plays on North Crowley would indicate Turntine is going up against some of the best talent in the state. But its hard for me to know for sure. Last HS season anyway.
Hope both guys, Turntine and Ojo stay healthy anyways. And I still have no clue why he is liste as IOL.

NIL / Portal - both I think are overall negatives and are ruining college football. It is nuts that UT has struck out on so many good recruits over the past couple of weeks...recruits that we seemed to be strongly in the mix for. I get it, it's still early. And Sark somehow pulls out a great recruiting class every year. However, it's not just what is the best school and who can best develop the players anymore. For a Texas Tech to come in at the last minute and flip Ojo, that's pretty indicative of where things are at. What five-star player would want to go play 3-4 years in Lubbock in the lousy Big 12? Really? It truly is all about the $$$ now. Who can pony up the most. $5.1 mil for a high school player to play college ball? Really? I wish Ojo the best, but I agree that Sark should fold his tent with this guy.
