Mavs in a 10 pt and over win. Mavs in 6. The road to a DYNASTY has begun!! :elephant :elephant :elephant

Congrats on reaching the Finals, but I'd sincerely recommend worrying about one game at a time. If you don't get to 4, there is no dynasty.

I am as anti-mavs as you are going to get, but you have to give the players for making almost impossible shots. I mean Dirk was fading away to the left, jumping off one foot (the wrong one no less), shooting a rainbow shot with a hand in his face.

KVH - he is the mvp of his team as soon as he steps on the court
Terry - Ball hogger and constipated face extrodinaire
Dirk - softest (many other words fit here) great player of all time
Harris - showed some class when he gave props to tp. He's playing scared in the finals as I predicted.
Erick Dampier - preferably known as Erika and aka 2nd best center in the league
Diop - like his game, unselfish type of player, needed Avery type personality to get into nba shape.
Howard - good thing those braces are off because those close in shots of his face included saliva in his mouth. Yikes. That was great coverage by ABC
The rest- who knows

So you don't like it even when they do features on one of the guys on your team?

No, I really don't care about TD's personal life, or Parker's, or Manu's, etc. I'll admit I was mildly irritated at part of the pre-game show I saw--perhaps on ESPN--about how Dirk seems sort of quiet, etc., but he's really a funny guy who his teammates would like the rest of us to see that side of--or something like that. I don't remember Duncan getting any stories--in the national media, at least--explaining that he's really pretty entertaining, public appearances aside.

I don't mean to sound harsh. I just figure the less I know about the players' personal lives, the better. I get tired for example of hearing how marvelously humble Dwyane Wade is. I mean, he might be, but I'll bet that's relative to other professional athletes, which is to say he probably isn't humble by my standards.

Oh you're fine. It is totally your preferance.

I like all the anecdotes about our guys.

Now these are the interview that get on my nerves.

At least they are showing the game while Owen blabs. :lol

Maybe as part of explaining the game to novices, they can bring in Dirk and Dick Bavetta for a halftime segment. They could have Greg Anthony illustrate how many feet you have to stand away from Dirk to avoid being called for the foul.

Josh is playing a crappy game so far..way too many dumb turnovers. Some of you guys tend to only focus on when calls go Dallas's way but Miami has gotten away with calls t0o. Haslem has push off Dirk twice to get rebounds. Unfortunately, missing calls is part of the game with the officials.

What drives me crazy is that EVERYONE who is around Detroit practices always comment that Ben is a very good free throw shooter.....in practice. He supposedly hits jumpers and tre's with regularity at practice aswell.
