I hate going 2 for 1. You put up one bad shot early, the other team gets it and you can't foul now or you don't get another shot. Best case, you have to force up a quick second shot to beat the buzzer. I'd rather run my offense and then be able to play D and foul (if I have one to give) on the next play.

Not at all. There have been several possessions where they have interfered with shots and they've frequently done a good job of staying on their man or swinging to help defense. I'm not saying the Spurs aren't outplaying it, just that it's better than I expected.
