William's untied Bowen's shoes with that move :lol
Deron is a stud. I saw that last year in the playoffs. The guy is all-around great player, and a mentally tough nut to crack. He will turn out better than Paul I believe, and possibly as good if not better than Kidd. (and yes Chumper Dumper, TP also -- as much as I love his heart can't compete with Deron's abilities unfortunately)

was eva at he game?
Huge win for the guys.
Like timvp said, this may have been more impressive than the Dallas win. Although Dallas is a thorn in the Spurs' side, Utah is better inside and matched up better with Duncan out. Plus the Spurs easily could've had an emotional letdown after the last big game.
With its leader out and stuck in both a funk and a hole, this team still found a way to grind it out.
The rest of the League better be on watch.

Chris Paul has less talent on his team and averages exactly the same as Deron Williams...what do you think Paul would be doing with Boozer on his team!
That;s a valid point but I don't think Paul is as tough physically as Deron, and in the playoffs, that becomes very important. Also Deron will probably be a better defender if he isn't already. The thing about Deron is that he is a hard-nosed, clutch player who can shoot the jumpers, drive, and dish-out.
A complete package. Just imagine Duncan, Gino, and DERON leading the Spurs. That would be scarily efficient team on both ends of the floor.

TRUE! TP is not exactly A chopped liver.
But Obi-Won-Ginobi is truly the X-Factor. This bodes well for playoffs once TP finds his jumper again, TD ratchets up his intensity & gets serious, and of course Obi-Won_Ginobilli does his usual magic, we COULD REPEAT FINALLY THIS YEAR!!

I was able to watch parts of the game since our company party was in a restaurant in downtown Austin. I saw that the Spurs were trailing most of the game until I looked with a few minutes to go and we were up! I can't believe we've been doing this well with Timmy out. This truly feels like the deepest Spurs team we've had in quite some time. GO SPURS GO!!!

Another good win, with Duncan resting his ankle & knee.
However, Pop should not play Manu too many minutes after Duncan comes back, in order to keep him fresh & let all his bruises heal.
