Any NFL offense should be able to get that frequently enough to make the numbers in favor of the 2pt attempts. People sometimes think of that decision as only affecting the offense, like thinking the downside of having to score twice is really huge. In reality, the numbers should and do take into account that the opponent will have a chance to score. Missing the conversion meant it didn't really matter if the Ravens scored or not. So there wasn't that much to lose.

The 49ers and the Seahawks need to lose because the Packers don't have the tiebreaker over either. 49ers due to head to head and Seahawks have a better win percentage when it commons to our 4 common opponents (Vikings, Panthers, 49ers and Eagles). Seahawks are 4-0 and Packers are 2-2. Whatever the Saints do doesn't matter if the Packers keep winning because the Packers have a better conference record.

Saints winning today means they're 4-0 against the AFC which is a curse in tiebreakers, so you're right. Packers loss against the Chargers worked out well for GB.

If the Packers lose to Minnesota then the Saints are almost assured of #1, they just have to beat the terrible Panthers to clinch HFA

If the 49ers win in Seattle next week then I believe it's 49ers #1, Packers #2 and Saints #3

I agree tbh. Going for 2 was the right play there. The hardest 2 point conversion to score in football is when you're down 8 at the very end of the game and it's do or die. Better to get it over with on the first TD and then if you don't convert it's okay because now you can win with a TD and FG.

I hate kicking the PAT down 9 in the 4th. It's objectively wrong.
