25% of Hillary’s 2008 primary voters voted for McCain in the general. That’s simply the norm.

Im not trying to argue that the Bernie or bust crowd isn’t re ed (particularly their new stuff about demonizing an extremely popular ex president in Obama), but the narrative that Bernie Bros screwed Hillary or rebeled against the Democrats in some massive way is simply wrong. General election candidates usually lose around 25% of their primary opponent’s voters. If your candidacy is dependent on being to get 95% of your primary opponents supporters simply because you’re both from the same party it means you’re running a ty campaign and aren’t doing enough to turn out the voters who don’t give enough of a to vote in the primaries.
Not making excuses for Hillary, who embarrassingly enough I actually support and don't think is a bad person, just pointing out the toxic heads who are almost gloating about helping Trump win and threatening to hold the party hostage if Bernie doesnt win. There is a lot of them on rose twitter.

I don't really think Hillary ran a bad campaign she just doesn't have much charisma or inspirational ability. There were studies showing she did worse in some areas the more she campaigned there. Every single campaign faces smears and disinformation bull or scandals. If you follow politics or the Democrat campaigns of the last 40 years (like most of these Bernie supporters have never done because many are in their early 20s and think any smear or negative info against Bernie is some shocking new kind of thing) all of these guys haved face both smears and scandals.

Bill if you watch the PBS Frontline series was dogged in sex scandals starting in 1991 and throughout all of 1992 iirc and was accused of murdering Vince Foster. Obama had the Jeremiah Walker thing which was a big deal but they had loads of charisma and could cut through it (Obama disowned Walker and gave one insanely awesome speech afterward and no one gave a ). I mean it is not an excuse to say 1992 Bill Clinton and 2008 Barack Obama were more handsome, charismatic, and inspirational than Al Gore, John Kerry, and Michael Dukakis. You sound re ed if you dont admit it.

I just think fringe supporters who are zealots for a primary candidate threatening to play spoiler has always been part of the process, the only difference now is that you have Hillary/MSNBC constantly ing about them as the reason for 2016 and crying about how they better not do it again , when all that does is put wind in their sails.

More than whether or not the candidate who ultimately wins is moderate / far left, I still think the bigger problem is Democrats not being as willing to fight dirty and look for every edge possible. They don’t have any killer instinct, they just assume that since Republican policies hurt most Americans that voters will do the smart thing and don’t realize how many people fall under votingrepublican.jpeg. Winning is a lot harder if the average urban Democratic voter has to wait in line for 3 hours when voting is practically a holiday in rural areas where there’s no lines and the process take 10 minutes. In swing states like Pennsylvania that have a Democratic Governor they should be trying to suppress the vote in Republican areas as much as humanly possible, and come 2021 they should go nuts gerrymandering where they can.

Buddy, I have no idea whatsoever what you're talking about with either of these posts below but I just want you to know that Bernie sucks in case I haven't made that clear yet.
Loud and clear on the 2nd place guy. If he manages to strings together a few primary wins early he could be tough to beat.

Biden is weaker than he looks.

DEMOCRATIC INSIDERS ARE TAKING BERNIE 2020 “VERY SERIOUSLY”

As Warren’s fundraising falters, party elite are warming to the progressive senator.

Remarkably, Sanders not only pulled through, but his campaign has thrived in the months since.

In polls, Sanders has leapfrogged over
Elizabeth Warren, who at one time outstripped him, and

    currently sits second to
    Joe Biden in national polls.

While he remains a distant third in
    South Carolina, that's RACIST SC

he’s leading in the early primary state of
    New Hampshire and

is currently a close second to
    Pete Buttigieg in Iowa,

Sanders appears to have captured the interested of the Democratic establishment, where he played antagonist in 2016.

One reason for the fresh look at Sanders, sources told the outlet, is Warren’s plight.

Though Sanders entered the 2020 race with a massive progressive movement behind him,

Warren seemed to co-opt some of that momentum, rising steadily in polling over the summer and into the fall.

As Sanders has risen, however, Warren has faltered

Where she was once on par with Biden, even outpacing him in some polling, she’s now well behind him once again.

It's reality my man lol. I like how a legit 80-85% of progressivism is being mad about the fact that reality exists lmao. There's been multiple studies showing that parents prefer their good looking kids to their ugly or less attractive kids. ING PARENTS my man. How is it you guys are so bad at everything?

Going further, if AOC was 200 lbs with an underbite and bad teeth she would be a nobody

Also, you can have different kinds of charisma..Trump is charismatic I guess. Certainly able to inspire his followers. Those mother ers literally would not care if he shot someone in fifth ave like he says. you need that to get by as you will always face a smear machine and controversies. Can be looks but also speaking ability etc. etc.

"How the Nixon-Kennedy Debate Changed the World"

As the story goes, those who listened to the debate on the radio thought Nixon had won. But those listeners were in the minority. By 1960, 88% of American households had televisions — up from just 11% the decade before. The number of viewers who tuned in to the debate has been estimated as high as 74 million, by the Nielsen of the day, Broadcast Magazine. Those that watched the debate on TV thought Kennedy was the clear winner. Many say Kennedy won the election that night. Sorensen says the Kennedy team didn't realize what a game changer the debate was until the following day at a campaign event in Ohio. "The crowds for his motorcade were much larger than they'd ever been," he says. "That's when we knew that, if nothing else, Kennedy had firmed up support for himself in the Democratic party."

...Even Kennedy acknowledged the medium's role in his victory. On November 12, 1960, four days after winning the election by a narrow margin, he said, "It was the TV more than anything else that turned the tide.

...Up to that point, politics had not really been played out on television. "It was very much an entertainment medium," says Schroeder. "It wasn't a place for serious discourse." The next televised presidential debate wouldn't take place for 16 years, largely because candidates became wary of their influence. Lyndon B. Johnson was too intimidated by the medium to take on Barry Goldwater in 1964, and Nixon, having been burned before, refused to debate on TV in both 1968 and 1972.
JFK destroyed Nixon so much with his charm, good looks, and charisma people were afraid to go on TV for almost 20 years

This is the Ron Paul treatment. I watched a great video on this; but I don't know the name of it now. But he got a laughable amount of coverage from Fox News, Etc. despite being a front runner, but the establishment was in it for Mitt, other puppets. This video shows the starting position though.

Texas Ron Paul is a racist with policies too fringe for GOP and the establishment.

Bernie, Liz, Medicare for All, all are getting the same treatment from the for-profit establishment.
