    What a shocker...

Democrats shooting themselves in the foot

    4 more years of Trump

how hard will it be for trump to demolish senile Biden?

Biden needs money - he should just be sponsored by Dementia/alzheimers society

She might be the hatchet woman the DNC is using to take Sanders votes.
    lol might

She 180's on Super Pac money, instantly gets millions, refuses to name donors

    The fix is in

I dont get this move. Specially when it comes to Warren.

In the highly unlikely case there is a brokered convention, does she think the DNC heads will pick her? I dont know if it's a naive thing or if she just loves to look like a beggar but either way, not a good look for her.

She’s trying to justify staying in the race with a bull reason even though we all know she’s actually staying in the race to siphon votes from Sanders (likely in exchange for something the DNC is promising her).

i keep saying it, her campaign has been frustrating and disappointing. she has no political savvy tbh (DNA test was a red flag that was discussed here, as well)... and coming in she had the best chance of "uniting the party" between the progressive wing and the establishment while actually being in "ideas" person and not a pla ude machine like beto/pete or a demagogue like kamala.

The big thing the DNC is forgetting if they’re trying to screw Sanders at all costs is how gaff prone Biden is going to get as the race is more intense and as he’ll have to spend more time talking during debates. Even his staunchest supporters have to admit they see an old man who’s cognitive ability is deteriorating and gets progressively more incoherent during debates because he’s used to being in bed at those times.

hard to say gaffes matter when trump got elected... but its the inferences of cognitive decline that could be more harmful down the line

I don't know why we'd assume Warren is siphoning many more votes from Bernie than she is from Biden. Warren seems like the pick for people who want a progressive executive but can't go all the way to "socialism."

This poll is a few months old, but it shows that while Warren-as-top-choice voters had Bernie at a plurality (30%) as their second choice, a combined 38% said their second choice was either Biden, Buttigieg or Bloomberg. With Buttigieg out and Bloomberg likely to follow, it stands to reason most of those votes would go to Biden instead of Sanders.

So if the numbers hold at all, it looks like it would be a pretty even split, if not advantageous for Biden for Warren to drop out.

    https://fivethirtyeight.com/features...s-still-fluid/

Warren is also a pretty popular "2nd choice" candidate right now so she may be waiting to see how many votes she picks up from the ones who dropped out.

admittedly warren is in an awkward position where she hasn't been performing well at the ballot in 4 early states, but has still been raking in a lot of donations (not including PACs... individual donations to her campaign) and it's hard for a candidate to ignore that. she pulled in almost 30 mil in february

Trump's gaffs are a lot different, they're outright lies that he proudly says with confidence. We're also talking about Dem primary voters here.

It's also more than inference at this point, it's pretty much definitive cognitive decline. His campaign staff has him wear aviators so they can walk him around and no one will know how half asleep he is

She's in the same position Bloomer is in, I think it's fair for her to stay in the race through tomorrow but if she struggles to get to 15% of the vote then it makes absolutely no sense for her to continue. The BernieBros saying she's in the same boat as Buttplug/Elena and should be dropping out today are going overboard imo, especially when there's a chance she gets a lot of Elena's "I'm a woman hear me ROAR!!!" vote and a lot of Buttplug's educated white vote.

Not sure about that but if it’s true the DNC is re ed, should have told her to just stick it out another day to block Sanders in Minnesota.
They're probably more worried about her Siphoning votes off Biden everywhere else.

I think they're getting way too careless in assuming all the Elena/Buttplug votes go to Biden. They both had a predominantly white base of supporters (albeit moderate whites) who weren't big fans of Biden in the first place (thus they were looking for a moderate alternative). If I had to guess them dropping out helps Warren more than anyone else - especially since Warren can now consolidate the "WE NEED WOMENZ!!!" vote.

I don't know that they look any worse than most political ads but given that he's running them so often, they have to be better. And they've gotten worse. Heard a radio ad this morning touting Bloomberg as the only candidate that can handle a crisis like Coronavirus because 9/11.

He also had one narrated by a very strokey sounding Michael Douglas.

I get that but his just look so entirely phoney looking and fake. lol

Trump would destroy Biden at the debates. And it really pains me to say that. Bernie is loud and mean looking, but so is Trump.

Only if the Dems let Trump write the narrative like they did in 2016. They could spend half a debate just brining up how Trump had tried to cut Medicare in every budget he's made
