I don't know. A big part of what makes this virus so successful is that it doesn't have a really high kill rate like say Ebola or MERS. It's why you can have a ton of asymptomatic carriers and why it's impossible to contain. Natural selection isn't going to favor a virus that kills its host so easily. If something is going to kill on the order of a billion I'd put my money on famine.

Tapwater is not the same from different parts of this country.
Its especially good from the E. Aquifer in NW San Antonio, just high in CaCO3 (not good for pipes but possibly good for bones.
