Look, it makes sense. If we're being honest, Biden might not make it to November, tbh, he's one corona away from croaking. You could say the same about Bernie, but that's the point.

Bernie doesn't know when to fold them. Good luck.

There might also not be a New York left in a month from tonight. We're falling ill by the hundreds now.
The fact Bernie's team is thinking about primaries at this point is highly questionable, morally wise.
17% chance of anyone but Biden. One can only hope.
what have Repugs actually done for small business owners?
Biden should step down. He looks awful. It’s clear he has signs of cognitive decline. Dems need to just find a compromise candidate right now. Any candidate would be better than Biden right now.
Agreed. Biden looks awful and Bernie is damaged goods at this point. Broker the convention and find a compromise candidate like Sherrod Brown or Jay Inslee.
No, they cast their lot with Biden long ago. & they'll see it thru to the end.
Yep, the re s running the DNC are pot committed and the one thing they don’t want to is admit mistakes. They still think Hillary was a good candidate for s sake.
You will grow old, gray & you will die before that happens.
...& she was. Stein was your failing.
In the three states that decided the election Gary Johnson (effectively the third party candidate for right wingers) got way more votes than Stein did. Take away both third party candidates and Trump’s margin is even wider.
I also think blaming third party candidates is a cop out. If Democrats in battleground states were willing to waste their vote on a candidate with no chance at winning because they didn’t want to vote for Hillary that’s an indictment on her likability.
Trump mopped the ing floor with her ass, and he didn’t need Jill Stein to do it.
Just take away Stein, Will.
They paid her no never mind because they thought it was in the bag & there was no danger whatsoever. That's why the Dem's called that one guy (forget his name) who was going to run (this time) as an Independent early on to back the off. WTF was his name, Will?
& he listened. Ain't seen him since.
Howard Schultz.
Just taking away Stein isn’t a reasonable hypothetical. At that point you’re just manufacturing a scenario that’s favorable to Hillary, which is precisely the problem with her as a candidate - she can only win when the deck is stacked in her favor.
Both candidates had a 3rd party taking away their voters. Trump overcame, Hillary didnt.
But, they recklessly ignored Stein's presence. Everyone did because everyone thought it was a foregone conclusion. They won't do that now, or, ever again. Nobody is going to split that vote. 1 Dem candidatePERIOD
They recklessly ignored a lot of things, I just don’t put Stein at or near the top of the list.
They got reports from campaign operatives early on about life long blue collar democrats in places like Youngstown Ohio that were going to vote for Trump and completely ignored them. Slick Willy himself was screaming at her campaign staff about working class white voters and he was ignored too.
They were simply clueless about where they were vulnerable. They picked one of the tiest running mates ever because they thought the election would come down to Virginia and not the rust belt. There were a lot of red flags that Hillary was too arrogant to take seriously.
Exactly. This was decided on a long time ago, and they’re gonna stick with it to the bitter end. There is no historically strong candidate to bust up the DNC’s plans like we had in 08.
why isnt biden suspending his campaign?
The progressive candidate essentially needs to be black, otherwise the DNC can use its house n!gger Jim Clyborn to tell South Carolina to vote however the DNC wants it to vote, which leads to the establishment candidate having momentum headed into Super Tuesday.
+ you have good, legitimate points on Stein, Will. I apologize for being so needlessly obstinate, fellow.
No apology necessary.
If you go by the recent DNC cognitive dissonance, the compromise will likely be Hillary/Brazile, tbh... might aswell let them do that and blow up the party afterwards
If I had to put money on it the “compromise” convention candidate would be Elena. The only people talking about Shillary as a convention candidate are conservatives, there are no Democrats at any level who want her as the candidate.
Don't know what to tell you anymore. Did Elena even got any delegates?
I can almost picture the smoke-filled backroom having this discussion, tbh...
The misconception with the smoke filled back room is that people think it’s full of intelligent oligarchs, in reality it’s filled with a bunch of affirmative action beneficiaries like Donna Brazile and old white people who are about to croak.
